I thought I was too busy to take this course, and that turned out to be all the more reason to take it! Although I have dabbled in mindfulness for years, it has never stuck. I also never understood why certain practices would work (or not). By taking this course, I learned why mindfulness practices help, and the practices were offered in such bite-sized manageable pieces, that they are almost impossible not to incorporate into everyday life. This course has profoundly changed my perspective on mindfulness from something ambiguous and untouchable to something so vital and present in a healthy life. It has also changed my outlook on life and my approach to difficult emotional situations. I will forever be grateful to the Be Mindful team.
This class was a great tool to begin small ways to be intentional about mindfulness practices and how to build them into an already busy schedule.
